Manak joined Mathews Samac LLP as an articling student in 2025 prior to his call to the Bar in 2026.  He maintains a broad litigation practice with a focus on civil and commercial disputes.  Manak has experience representing individuals and businesses in a wide range of matters, including contractual disputes, shareholder and business conflicts, debt recovery, defamation claims, and estate litigation matters.

Manak has appeared before the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Small Claims Court.  He is involved in all stages of litigation, assisting clients through contested proceedings from commencement to resolution.  Manak has further gained experience with criminal litigation matters, exposing him to advocacy in a variety of legal settings.

Manak earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2023.  During law school, he developed a strong interest in advocacy, dispute resolution, and strategic legal analysis.  Previously, he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University, where he built a foundation in business, finance, and organizational strategy that continues to inform his approach to commercial litigation.

Manak completed the Law Practice Program at Toronto Metropolitan University from 2024 to 2025, where he gained training in advocacy, client management, negotiation, and litigation procedure.  He is committed to providing clients with practical, responsive, and results-oriented representation.
